“Every week Golden Butterfly Bakers brings cookies and biscuits! These treats are a welcome home to the children coming off the school bus on a Tuesday afternoon and a snack for the children before bedtime. This one small thing of getting a cookie treat may seem small to some people, but to them it’s a luxury … they’ve told us how much they love them and how much it gives them a sense of “home.”

"Our mission is to serve the poorest of the poor, in any community where God leads us to serve. We are servants of the Lord Jesus Christ, working with people struggling in poverty, homelessness, addiction and despair in Houston, Texas. We provide daily, outdoor church services and meals in impoverished communities. We serve individuals in homeless conditions, who are facing desperate situations with spiritual food for their souls and nutritious food for their bodies."
